Each page of your Rocketbook Wave contains a special QR code which tells the Rocketbook app the page number of each scan. That means no matter how or when you scan your Wave, we can always get your notes in the right order.
Each page also has a narrow dark border surrounding it. The border allows the Rocketbook app to find your page quickly in any environment or background.
The pages all feature a unique dot grid pattern that is perfect for both text notes, sketches and diagrams.
The seven symbols at the bottom of each page are the magic “buttons” behind the Rocketbook’s quick and easy cloud organization. You assign each icon to the destination of your choice, any folder inside Dropbox, Evernote, Google Docs, iCloud, Box, Slack, OneNote, or your email address. When you mark that icon on your page, the Rocketbook app automatically files your notes in the right place.
The Rocketbook System is the combination of a special notebook and a free mobile app. Write notes and create designs in your notebook with a pen. Then, using patent-pending image capture technology, the Rocketbook app accurately and quickly captures and sends your notes to pre-configured cloud services.
In an instant, the Rocketbook app crops and enhances each page so your digital notes are more crisp and vibrant than the real thing.
With your notes stored safely in the cloud, and when you use Pilot Frixion pens, you can erase your Wave using your microwave oven.
Our specially designed thermal logo on the cover tells you when your Rocketbook is done. Simply microwave both sides with a mug of water until the logo turns from blue to white. It will return to blue when cool.
Frixion ink turns clear with heat, but it doesn’t completely evaporate. This means in some lighting, old notes will appear as faint “ghost” images. Fortunately, Frixion pens continue to write perfectly over clear ink and our proprietary machine vision won’t be disturbed by old notes.
Although the book will “work” indefinitely, much like other reusable items the number of reuses you will get depends on a number of factors. These include your note density, pen type, pen pressure, typical lighting and a general tolerance of ghosts. Generally users can expect up to 5 reuses.
